Ebru - Turkish Marbling Art

I recently had the opportunity to try a Turkish art form called Ebru. It was invented in the 13th Century and is still very popular today. Colorful patterns are created by sprinkling and brushing color pigments in a pan of oily water and then transferring the pattern to paper. Mine are very simple, but you can find much more complex and amazing ones if you google ebru art. I hope to try more in the future.
